Alfred Clive Carpenter OAM ED A man of many parts
During World War II Alf Carpenter fought in many of the major conflict zones, facing Italians, Germans and Japanese in battle areas in North Africa and the Middle East, Northern Greece and Crete and finally Darwin and Bougainville.
As a man who “tends to do pretty well at anything I’m interested in”, he has also been or still is an entrepreneur, retailer, surf life saver, Justice of the Peace for 50 years, psychologist, marathon runner, yoga student of Hindu Yogi Ramacharaka, professional hypnotist and thought transference demonstrator, Tai-Chi official, public speaker and much more.
Alf’s amazing stories will form the narrative section of this unique event
